During detection, the phase line and neutral line of the Single-phase electric power user shall be placed in the jaw of the clamp meter at the same time, and the three phase lines and neutral lines of the Three-phase electric power user shall also be placed in the jaw at the same time.

(1) If there is no leakage fault in the line, then the sum of the phasors of the load current magnetic flux is zero, and the indication of the clamp meter is also zero;

(2) If there is leakage current in the circuit, the clamp Ammeter can detect the leakage current.

3. The jaw of the clamp Ammeter shall be tightly connected during measurement. If there is noise during measurement, the jaw can be opened and closed again to make it well connected; Or carefully inspect and remove debris and dirt from the jaws before measuring.

5. After the measurement is completed, the range switch should be placed in the highest position to prevent damage to the instrument due to carelessness in selecting the appropriate range during the next use.
